QUESTIONS

Who is paying for this / how much will it cost?

Sheila and Neil are taking care of the housing costs. We’re only asking each family / group to pay $150 for food and incidentals for the event. That’s not per day or person, that’s $150 total for your entire family for the whole event (no matter what size). We’re basically bribing you to come 😜.

You’ll also need to cover your own travel costs.

Wow, this sounds amazing! How do I sign up?

Great question, but ten points from Gryffindor for not reading the section above and clicking on the giant Sign Up button. You can also click here.

I / our family can’t make it all three nights. Can we still come?

Absolutely! We’d love to have as many people attend as possible. If you can make it all three nights, that’s great! If you can only come one or two, that’s fine too! The more the merrier.

This is great, but $150 seems like it’s too good to be true, what’s the catch?

No catch. Sheila and I would really love to see everyone, and we believe that covering the majority of the costs helps more people be able to attend. That said, if you have the means and would like to chip in with a donation, text Sheila or Neil and we’re happy to let you know how you can help.

We are asking for $150 when you sign up because we’ve put money down on the deposit for the lodging, and we want to make sure that people are committed to attending once you’ve signed up. We’re happy to be transparent with the funds and costs with everyone if you have any concerns about how this money is being used.

I can’t afford the $150 price tag / the price would prevent my group from attending.

We don’t want anyone to be unable to attend due to price. We’re not trying to profit off of anyone or be opportunistic, we’re trying to split the food and supply costs among everyone so that it doesn’t land entirely on us. If the price doesn’t work for you, please text Sheila or Neil and we’ll work something out. We’re much more interesting in having everyone together than we are about a few dollars.

What about <insert additional question here>?

There are a myriad of things not covered here. We want to get this up quickly so people can make plans. There will be a shared spreadsheet soon™️ that we can all collaborate on about everything else (responsibilities, food preferences, activities, etc). I’ll send out the link soon.
